The Mueller’s have been clients and friends for over 8 years, so naturally I was excited to hear that Amanda and Ryan were tying the knot. Ryan proposed on the beach in Southern California, with friends and family nearby.  This tight-knit family knows how to have a good time, so I imagine the celebration that followed was one for the books.

We decided the Salk institute in La Jolla would be a fun place to shoot their engagement session. We spent an hour touring the grounds, then headed to the beach for sunset.  Amanda and Ryan were naturals in front of the camera, and their love for each other was apparent.

The wedding will take place in November, at Mary Star of the Sea in La Jolla. Without a doubt, a rockin’ party will follow at the infamous Tower 23 in Pacific beach.  Congrats to the newly engaged couple! Here are a few images from their shoot…
